Your Singapore

Hello hello hello

Was invited by the Singapore Tourism Board for a mixologist event on 31st March. The event showcased the lighter and the calmer side of Singapore.

Mr. Vijay Mudaliar from Native and Operation Dagger, two of the popular cocktail bars in Singapore conducted the event. He imparted some cocktail making tips and shared some of his favorite tipples and stories. The event was in the heart of the bustling city of Mumbai, The Korner House (Khar)

The event started on a calm note. The Singapore Tourism Team welcomed us and soon exciting stories related to food and the city were shared. A plethora of delicious appetisers were on the menu including,  Togarashi Dusted Fish Tacos,  Tomato and Hummus Burrata Flat Bread, BBQ Chicken and many more.
The BBQ Chicken was well garnished and the BBQ sauce was outstanding.

And then arrived the moment we were all waiting for: Vijay Mudaliar mixing some wicked cocktails.
I’ll confess I am a cocktail fan and this was an epic moment to watch an ace Mixologist at work.

There were 3 distinct cocktails mixed, each one with an ingredient that took centre stage. They were refreshing and had a peculiar taste which made me taste some more.

1)Truly Singaporean
2)Jaggermalt
3)City Forager (My Personal Favourite)
It was then time to hit the floor, great upbeat music combined with the serene ambience of The Korner House made it for the perfect evening.

Thank you again to Team Singapore for inviting to this fun filled evening of exquisite cocktails and conversations…
